Payment Service Provider
Our webstore uses external payment service providers to process payments. When a customer makes a purchase and selects a payment method, we share the necessary information, such as name, address, email address, phone number, purchase amount, and other payment-related information, with the payment service provider to complete the transaction and to prevent fraud. Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike does not have access to payment card details or online banking credentials.

Delivery Terms
Products purchased from Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike's online store are delivered to the customer according to the chosen delivery method. If the ordered products are in stock, the purchases are collected, packed, and sent to the address provided by the customer within three business days from the time the payment information has been transmitted to the online store. If the ordered products are not in stock, the purchases are sent to the customer no later than the next business day after the product arrives from the supplier to Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike's online store's goods reception. The stock situation is visible to the customer in the online store when ordering the product. Estimated delivery time to Finland can be 5 business days and to the EU area 10 business days. Outside the EU area, the estimated delivery time is 10-15 business days.
Products ordered from Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike's online store can be delivered worldwide to official addresses with a fixed, regular access route. Orders placed outside Finland are delivered according to the delivery terms of Posti or a corresponding international transport service. For the delivery of orders placed outside Finland, the legislation of the country of delivery and the regulations of the transport service provider in the country of delivery are followed from the moment the delivery has passed from the sender's responsibility. Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike is not responsible for any delays in transport services outside the Finnish legislative area. Delivery Methods
Postal Parcel within Finland: The postal parcel is delivered in Finland to the Posti service point (e.g., a Posti outlet or parcel locker) corresponding to the address provided by the customer. Posti will send the recipient an arrival notification via email, SMS, or the Posti mobile app. After the parcel has arrived, the customer must pick it up within the time limit specified by the service point. Parcels not picked up within the deadline will be returned to Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike. For uncollected orders, we comply with the current Finnish regulations on consumer sales, consumer trade, and e-commerce. The terms regarding the storage and pick-up of postal parcels are defined by Posti at posti.fi.
Pick-Up Parcel to Sweden or Denmark: Delivery to a selected pick-up point in Sweden or Denmark. The recipient will be notified of the parcel's arrival by the local transport service. The parcel can be picked up within the timeframe specified by the pick-up point. Uncollected parcels will be returned to the sender.
EU Parcel: Delivery within the EU. The parcel is delivered to the recipient according to the practices of the destination country, usually by the local postal or courier service, either directly to the delivery address or to a pick-up point. The recipient will be notified of the delivery. Delivery times and methods may vary by country.
Home Delivery in Finland: The parcel is delivered directly to the delivery address provided by the customer in Finland. Posti or another transport service will contact the recipient to agree on a delivery time or provide an estimated delivery window. Please ensure someone is present to receive the parcel at the agreed time.
Pick-up from Store: When choosing store pick-up as the delivery method, the order is collected and packed within 1–3 business days, provided all ordered items are in stock. If the order or any part of it is out of stock, the order will be collected and packed no later than the next business day after the product arrives from the supplier at the Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike online store's goods receipt. The stock situation is visible in the online store when ordering the product.
When choosing this delivery method, the customer must provide a phone number. The customer will be notified via SMS when the order is ready for pick-up at the store located at Itäinen Pitkäkatu 31a, 20100 Turku. Important: The SMS notification is sent to the phone number provided by the customer. We highly recommend verifying that the number is correct.
We store uncollected store pick-up orders at the store for 3 months. For uncollected orders, the Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike online store complies with the current Finnish regulations on consumer sales, consumer trade, and e-commerce.
Parcel Worldwide: Delivery worldwide to official addresses with standard, fixed transport connections. The parcel is delivered according to the destination country's practices to a local postal or customs service point, or directly to the delivery address. The recipient will be notified of the delivery. Delivery times and methods vary by country. The customer is responsible for any potential service or handling fees, taxes, customs duties, or other charges levied by the destination country.
Letter: Shipments weighing less than 2 kg and up to 9 cm thick can be delivered as a letter to the mailbox. If the letter does not fit in the mailbox, it will be delivered to the nearest Posti service point corresponding to the customer's address, and the mail carrier will leave a separate notice. Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike reserves the right to deliver a letter shipment as a postal parcel if the quality or size of the product requires it. When choosing letter delivery, the customer is responsible for ensuring the shipment can withstand mailbox storage.
Courier Service or Other Delivery Method: Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike reserves the right to deliver shipments using a courier service or another delivery method of its choice if the quality, size, or any other justified reason regarding the product requires it.
Order Cancellation, Exchange, and Return Terms
The customer has 14 days to inspect the ordered products. If the customer wishes to cancel the purchase, they have the right to cancel or modify their order, or exchange the ordered product for another within 14 days of receiving the order.
The right of return, exchange, or cancellation does not apply to a product specifically ordered at the buyer's request that is not part of the normal selection.
The 14-day right of cancellation, modification, or exchange applies to unused products that are in their original condition and resalable, and that are returned observing general care and diligence.
The customer has the right to return an incorrect delivery or a defective product within 14 days of receiving the order.
The goods must be returned no later than 14 days after making the cancellation notification.
During the cancellation, exchange, and return period, the customer must check the ordered products for their condition and quantity, and ensure they have received the correct delivery.
Returned products and packaging must be unopened, and the customer must handle the products with care until a final purchase decision is made. Labels on returned products and packaging must not be detached or removed. When cancelling a purchase, the customer must return all parts belonging to the product and packaging undamaged.
The customer must exchange or return the product or shipment by following the Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike online store's exchange and return instructions. The customer's purchase will be refunded within 14 days via the payment method originally used by the customer.
Payment card: Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike will refund the customer's payment card via the credit card company.
Online bank payment: The money will be refunded to the bank account. In this case, the customer must provide their account number on the return notification attached to the packing slip that came with the order.
Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike is not responsible for payment delays caused by the systems of banks, credit institutions, or other payment intermediaries.
Shipping costs will not be refunded if the return only applies to a part of the ordered products. When returning the entire order, the standard postal costs of the order will be refunded.
Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike is not responsible for damages to returns packed carelessly or negligently. Costs arising from an error on the customer's part will be charged to the customer. The customer is responsible for delays, as well as postal and handling costs, caused by a return made contrary to the return instructions.
Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike reserves the right to refuse refunds for products and shipments returned contrary to the instructions, and to send the items back to the customer.
In addition to these order cancellation, exchange, and return terms, the Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike online store complies with the current Finnish regulations concerning consumer sales, consumer trade, and e-commerce.
Reclamation Instructions
If we have sent a defective product or the customer has received the wrong product, the item must be returned according to the return instructions.
In the case of a defective product, the return notification attached to the packing slip included with the order must be filled out, indicating the defect in the product or order. A description of the defect must be noted on the return notification.
Depending on the manufacturer, some products in the Itäisenkadun Taidetarvike online store may have different warranty exchange and service practices. If a defect appears in the product you purchased, return the product according to the return instructions or contact our customer service to clarify potential warranty exchange or service procedures.
